JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
For the last 3 years, the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce) community has hosted a Juneteenth Celebration in Lapwai, ID. The day is designated to showcase Black excellence as well as uplift the community through the speakers and performers that are chosen. This year, Indigenous Creatives, LLC has been handed the torch in organizing the annual event.
We plan to deliver the overall purpose of acknowledging the importance of cultural identity and solidarity within tribal communities in the PNW. The event will have a live DJ, performances, speakers, vendors, games, and more. Join us this year!
