For the last 4 years, the nimiipuu community has hosted a Juneteenth Celebration in Lapwai, ID. The day is designated to showcase Black excellence as well as uplift the community through the speakers and performers that are chosen.

We plan to deliver the overall purpose of acknowledging the importance of cultural identity and solidarity within tribal communities in the PNW. The day's celebration will have a live DJ, performances, speakers, vendors, games, and more.
